Kishore kunal : "How policman become devotees"

 


This blog is about an I.P.S of bihar who take voluntarily retirement and become devotee toward the god.  Kishore kunal was born on 10th August 1950. He did his schooling from baruraj village in Muzaffarpur district of bihar. Later after 20 year's he shifted to Patna and complete his graduate degree in history and sanskrit from Patna university in year 1970.

     He become an officer of the Indian police service in the Gujarat cadre in the year 1972. His first posting was as the Superintendent of police (S.P) at anand in Gujarat. Later, In the year 1978, He rose to become the Deputy commissioner of police of ahmedabad. After complete of his master's degree in year 1983,Kunal was appointed as the senior Superintendent of police at Patna,(Bihar).

    He first comes into the limelight in the year 1983, When he become the secretary of the mahavir mandir patna. Under his secretaryship, renovation work of mahavir temple started on 30 October 1983 and it was inaugurated on 4 march 1985. He ones again comes into the limelight when he was appointed as the officer on special duty in Ayodhya by the prime minister V.P. singh to mediate between the Vishwa Hindu Parisad and the Babri Majhid action committee on the ayodhya dispute. He contribute to his serve in this position during the government of Chandra Sekhar and P.V Narasimha rao. In the year 2001, He takes voluntarily retirement and served as the chairman of the bihar state board of religious trusts and also he was appointed as the vice-chancellor of K.S.D. sanskrit university, Darbhanga Bihar.

    He was a very tough administrator.One of his very controversial decision was taken on 13th June 1993,When he appoints a dalit priest in the magnificent Mahavir(hanuman) Mandir at Patna under his secretaryship. During his long tenure as the president of bihar state board of religious trusts, he appointed dalit priests in a number of temple in Bihar and sent a strong message of social equality in the most difficult arena of religion.

    Kunal done many social works his combined philanthropic activities with religious rituals by establishing five big hospitals through the aegis of hanuman mandir trust. Mahavir Cancer Sansthan, Mahavir Arogya Sansthan, at kankarbagh, and on its premises Mahavir netralaya has been set up which caters to needs of those suffering from eye problem. Its cancer hospitals is one of the largest cancer hospital in the country where poor patients get utmost care and substantial financial assistance from the temple trust for the treatment. Its child and maternity hospitals is one of the best hospital in north India.He also founded Gyan Niketan school in Patna.

    After the final verdict by the supreme court on Ayodhya dispute. he announced to provide free meals to the poor and the visitor who comes to Ayodhya and  his trust also denote the ghee for the akhand jyoti deep inside the ram lala temple. Under his leadership hanaman mandir trust become the first one to denote for the ram mandir in Ayodhya. He also wrote a book on ayodhya dispute "AYODHYA REVISITED " which was publish in year 2016.

    In year 2008, Kishore kunal received the "Bhagwaan Mahaveer" award for his contribution to the community and social services by the President of the India,Pratibha Patil, is instituted by the Bhagwan Mahaveer Foundation, Chennai.

 Anand Kumar, Have you families with the name....No, Don't worry.
